Yes, you can combine Solar PV with a heat pump to create an environmentally friendly way of meeting your heating and hot water requirements.
An Energy Diverter is a programmable device that identifies excess electricity being generated and diverts it to other energy storage devices such as an electric immersion heater in your hot water tank.
LEDs are a good idea because; you will save on your energy bills, they have no UV or heat emissions, they are energy efficient, they have a long lifespan and come in sleek designs.
As long as the MVHR system is installed correctly, no, it will not be noisy.
Solar panels will generate electricity facing in any direction but by preference they need to be facing somewhere between South West and South East. We can help you choose the best location.
Where possible, we aim to install panels so that they are south facing at angled at around 30 degrees. This position creates the best possible generation opportunity for your solar PV array.
Solar thermal generates hot water throughout the year: the system works all year round, though you’ll need to heat the water further with a boiler or immersion heater during the winter months.
